Chocolate-dipped fortune cookie Pt 5

Clara had a visitor who saw her while she was in jail. The visitor was a tall brunette woman with the type of blue-eyes that pierced one's soul. Clara asked her where she has been this whole time. Hope, the brunette, answered that she had been trying to get things in order for her as far as bail money goes. Clara burst into tears and admitted that she no longer recognizes herself and knows what exactly she wants. She has been confused or quite sometime. Hope tried to console her and advised that she use this time to reflect on some things. After comforting Clara, Hope left to finish putting up bail.

Back at Silvia's apartment, she and Joseph were still shaken up by the incident. Joseph was more angry than he was scared. Silvia asked Joseph what went through his mind as he married her, in a non-judgmental tone. Joseph broke down and told her the truth. Clara and Joseph were married by force, in order to keep both sets of their parents appeased. Clara's parents knew that there was something about their daughter that seemed strange to them. Joseph told Silvia that he wanted his parents to remain in his life, but the only way they were willing to do that is if he married Clara. Joseph explained that he and Clara were childhood friends and they got along just like that. Now that they are married, things are down hill. Silvia noticed Joseph burying his face in his hands. Silvia told Joseph that all is well with her.

Four days had passed. Joseph and Silvia arrive at Joseph's house, but he finds the place to be unlocked. He tells Sivila to wait in the the car for him. Joseph notices that the place is intact and that no spills are on the floor, but still has that eery feeling. As he walked further up stairs, he noticed a faint noise from their bedroom. The closer he got to the door, the clearer the noise became. He knew that Clara had come back from jail, but he could not help to wonder who the other voice was. Joseph, barged in like a swat team would a crackhouse. He discovered that Clara's confusion came back. Clara and Hope were without any clothes on underneath the sheets, kissing and hugging ever so tightly......TO BE CONTINUED.
