Chocolate-dipped fortune cookie Pt 4

As the shooter ran off, Joseph was lying on the ground helpless. Silvia rushed to his side and called 911. She held him in her arms until the ambulance arrived. Two paramedics brought out a stretcher and carried him to the van. Silvia went along for the ride and held hands with Joseph. She continuously reassured him that he will be alright. As they arrived to the emergency room, they let go of eachothers hands as she watched him roll into a room. Felicity entered the hospital lobby and saw Silvia standing there in tears. She ran over to her and knocked her to the ground. Silvia got up and punched Felicity dead in her nose numerous times. The security guards pulled the two apart and took them outside to cool off. Felicity accused Silvia of harming her brother and threatened to strangle her. Silvia screamed that she would do no such thing to anyone.
Meanwhile, Joseph was undergoing surgery to get the bullet removed. It was located in his right shoulder. The doctor went outside to let Silvia know that it was a success and tha Joseph will be fine. The doctor escorted Silvia to see Joseph. Felicity asked if she could come along. The doctor said that Joseph did not want to se her. This made Felicity's blood boil. She stormed out of the hospital and drove home.
In the hospital room, Joseph and Silvia were sitting there not saying a word. They wanted to enjoy eachother's company in peace. After five minutes passed, Joseph broke the silence. He told Silvia that he had a feeling that Felicity had something to do with why he is in the ER. Silvia told him thathe may ne jumping to crazy conclusions. Joseph explained to Silvia that his family is racist towards anyone who is not Vietnamese. If his mother found out about her son leaving an Asian woman for a black woman, she would go into cardiac arrest. Silvia told him to relax and that she will be by his side no matter what. Joseph smiled at her and kissed her hand. After a few days passed Silvia and Joseph decided that it was okay for them to take the next flight to West Vigiania. Before they left, they contacted the police to see about and investigation. The police agreed. They boarded to the plane and took off.
As they landed in West Virginia, Silvia and Joseph entered their own cars. Joseph followed Silvia home. Once they arrived to Silvia's apartment, They unloaded their bags, sat down, then conversed. Joseph wanted to spend the night with Silvia since he had trouble at home. Silvia agreed, but told him their cannot be a round two of what they did in the hotel. Joseph said that it will be hard, but he'll try. He was very appreciative of what Silvia had done for him throughout the time they had met. Night fell and they both were preparing for bed. Joseph slept on the fouton while Silvia slept in her bed. Hours had past and Joseph heard a loud knock on the door. Joseph and Silvia both woke up startled and raced to the door. Silvia held on to a baseball bat ready to swing. Joseph calmed her down and gently opened the door. It was Clara. She stood on the stoop in tears and asked Joseph why he wouldn't come home. Joseph asked how she found him there. Before she could answer, Silvia stepped in front of Joseph and told her to get the hell away from her screen door. Clara got angry and called her a black bitch. She tried to force the door open and threatened bodily harm on both Silvia and Joseph. Silvia called the police, but Clara did not care. They two women both argued disturbing the peace of the neighborhood. The police car pull up in the parking lot of the complex and walked towards Clara. One of them asked Clara what the issue was and she responded that Silvia stole her husband. Silvia argued back that her husband is not property that one can steal. Clara went crazy again and threatened to kill Silvia. Clara kicked the door, screamed and cried. The officer got in the way of Clara, but she shoved him away with heavy force then slapped him. That is when they had to arrest her. She was put in handcuffs and escorted to the vehicle. While being escorted she screamed that they have not seen the last of her and she will get them....TO BE CONTINUED
