Chocolate-dipped fortune cookie Pt 7

Silvia reached into her purse and called the police. They arrived to take her to the hospital. As she rode to the hospital, Silvia called Joseph and told him all that happened. He grew furious and rushed to the hospital where she will be located. The nurses at the hospital did a rape kit on Silvia and asked her a few questions as they went along. After the nurses finished, Joseph entered the room and rushed to Silvia's side. They hugged and she buried her face in his shoulder. That night, they went to her apartment and he comforted her throughout the night.

The next morning, Joseph offered to take Silvia to work and she agreed. As Joseph pulled up to Silvia's office, Silvia saw the same dusty camero parked in front of the building. Silvia got scared and told Joseph that she was not going in the building just yet. Joseph asked her what was the matter. Silvia told him that the camero belongs to the man who raped her. Bryon looked at Silvia in Joseph's car and looked suspiciously at her. Bryson storms out of the car to see who Silvia was with. Joseph jumped out o the car, as well. Bryson asked Joseph who he was and Joseph responded that he is Silvia's boyfriend. Bryson laughed and told Silvia to get out of the car so he could talk to her. Silvia shook her head and looked down at her lap. Bryson's voice became more demanding as he told her to get out of the car the second time. She screamed for him to leave her alone. As Bryson tried to reach for Silvia, Joseph jabbed him in the jaw with full force. Bryson went to punch Joseph back, but Joseph ducked and punched him where it really counted. Bryson moaned like a female and fell to the ground. Joseph repeatedly kicked Bryson out of the anger her felt for Silvia. He dragged him into the camero and told him to drive the fuck off. Bryson followed this instruction and was never heard from again. As Bryson drove a few blocks away from Silvia's office, the police pulled him over. The police came out of the car and arrested Bryson.

Meanwhile, at Clara and Joseph's place, Clara was on the phone with her sister in New York. Clara was sobbing and explained that she and Hope had an argument about her and Joseph's marriage and hidden sexuality. Her sister asked her if she told their parents about all of this. Clara said that she has not. Her sister told her that it is best they know now. Clara responded that she would never come out to them. Clara also told her sister that if Joseph wants a divorce, she will sign the papers right away. She wants to continue her life with Hope. Clara had an incoming call and to her sister that she will call back. Clara took the incoming call and it was her mother on the other line calling from Vietnam. They said their hellos and went on to talking about how the marriage was going. Clara became silent. Her mother asked what was going on, and Clara still remained quiet. Finally, Clara gathered up the courage to tell her mother everything that happened. Her mother became upset, but was not surprised. Her mother told her that she knew she was a lesbian from her childhood. She was hoping that it was a phase that would go away. Clara asked her mother if she still loved her. Her mother responded that she would continue to love her if she remained with Joseph. Clara told her mother that if she cannot accept who she is, than do not call her ever again. Clara hung up the phone. The phone rang continuously, but Clara did not pick up. Clara went into the bedroom and found the 9mm that she kept in her shoebox.
