Silvia Bosworth was a beautiful African-American woman with mahogany skin who lived in West Virginia. She had a stable job, very intelligent and a good majority the men in her town wanted her. Unfortunately, it seemed as if none of them wanted a commitment. Every relationship she had with each of them failed in different ways. Due to that, she gave up and focused on getting further up in her career. She worked in a business law firm hoping to open one of her own. There is one thing Silvia always wanted to do...leave West Virginia. She was not sure of where to move, but she knew she had to leave.
Silvia went to work to do her normal routine. On her lunch break, she went to the break room with her laptop. She did some internet searching on other cities where she could live and open up her business law firm. She came across a special website for those working within her field. She looked further into the site and found that New York had plenty of opportunities for those who wanted to open any type of a firm. Seeing that it would be very competitive, she did not allow for that to stop her from pursuing her dream. She jotted down the number to the agency and called them. After she got off the phone with the agency, she smiled from ear to ear. The reason she was so happy is because she scheduled an appointment with them the following week.
She went home and told her mother the great news. Her mother was excited for her, but was a little heart-broken that she wanted to leave West Virginia. Her mother told her that she should always follow her dream no matter what the circumstance. This woman was always supportive of her daughter's happiness. Her father is no longer present. He was the gunned-down officer during a drug shooting.
The following week had approached and she headed off to the airport. While she was rushing to the terminal, she bumped really hard into someone and all her paper work fell to the ground. She frantically apologized and bent to the ground gathering her papers. A very deep voice told her that it was alright. She looked up and noticed it was a VERY handsome Asian male she encountered. He bent down to help her out. Silvia was nervous and fresh out of words at this moment. He introduced himself as Joseph Nguyen. He is American-born and of Vietnamese descent. He asked if she was alright. All she could do is nod and stare into his eyes. After a few seconds she snapped out of her shock and introduced herself. They finished collecting the papers from the ground and walked to the terminal. The two held a long conversation on various topics before the plane had arrived. Silvia heard her flight number and gathered her belongings. Joseph ran after her and told her that he is boarding the same flight. Surprised and happy, she waited for Joseph to catch up with her.
They got on the plane and it took off. Joseph and Silvia had another long conversation on their way to New York. Silvia felt as if she could not beat around the bush anymore. She came out and said that she is interested in getting to know him and seeing where things go from there. Joseph said that the feeling is mutual, but he is unhappily married and not sure of what to do. As he told Silvia this, the plane landed at the La Guardia airport. The two got off the plane and said their goodbyes. A heart-broken Silvia was unsure of whether or not she will see Joseph or someone like him, ever again....TO BE CONTINUED.

It sucks when someone you feel an attraction to and have a connection with, turns out to be married or attached.
Good story though! I'll keep reading.
