I was talking to the man I am now seeing earlier today. The conversation we had was very thorough and detailed, not to mention heart-felt. My friend told me to ask him the question about whether he wanted to play around or was looking for a relationship. He told me in detail what we was looking for in a woman. He told me that he has a hard time finding women who will understand him. He is either avoided or forgotten about because he is the type that minds his business and does not chase pussy during every blessed minute. He works hard, comes home, jacks off, then sleeps. Not to mention he is very attractive to me, but he swears up and down that he is not among the prettiest niggas around, but I see different. I told him that I am at a point where I am tired of playing games and being played. I'm ready to talk to one person and one person only.
I told him that I liked him a lot and that I think of him on a daily basis. He asked me if I had any other option as far as men go. I told him that I did not. Yes other men are interested in me, but I have no interest in them whatsoever. He is one of the very few men who can keep my interest because it can be easily lost. He is just being himself and not trying too hard. That is what I love about him. He is not trying to sell me a dream like the rest of these niggas. I can tell that he is very sincere about how he feels about me and appreciates my phone calls to check if his day went smoothly. He is not financially stable now, but that is not going to stop me from seeing him, because he has more to offer me than what money could purchase.
I still till this day don't understand why sisters like me avoid brothers like him. He keeps to himself, minds his business, and plans to progress in life. I will be praying for my new friends that his finances do get straightened for his sake. I know he will be just fine with some prayer and support, which is what I will give him right now.
Finally, I told him that I liked him a lot and enjoy his company every chance I get. He told me that the feelings are very mutual. He is not used to what I do for him. It's about time he gets that way, in my case. If him and I were to make it official, I will spoil my man rotten. If this is Mr. Right, God give em a sign!!!

Lady, if there's one thing I'll NOT do in a relationship, it's to make a man a priority when he hasn't made me a priority in his life, FIRST. Sorry, but this is just how I do things. When a man can show me that he's worth spoiling, I wont hesitate to do the same.
I wont date men who dont have their finances together.... at least he should be able to take care of himself without depending on others. He should have his own career or be in school, working towards building a future for himself. I have no time or patience for men who have no ambition and drive.
I'm very picky with the kinds of men I date, because I want a man who'll offer me the best treatment money can't buy. I know I'll make my ideal man happy, so the question is can HE make me equally happy?
:-)
